Last Minute Images

When holding a feedback focus group, for my first draft of the magazine I was told that the contents page uses too boring, including too many female models and so seeming unrealistic for a rock magazine. Therefore to make improvements to the contents page I decided to take last minute images to make sure that were of males to allow my magazine to have variety as well as seem more interesting and professional due to the range of images. The feedback group believed that including more male based images would give my magazine a range of images, due to the use of location and studio shots that will stand out as well as make them want to read the magazine. This using the uses and gratifications theory as the magazine is entertaining as well as informative and so relating to my audiences demographics of main-streamer's and individualists of the classes A B C1.

Edited Front Cover Image

This is an image i have taken in the studio with my cover model, who is my artist with the article i am making. I have edited this image to make the image portray the genre of rock more clearly. I have edited the image by increasing the contrast between the image to make the black stand out more, this is because the magazine i am creating is more serious about the music rather than the gossip like most pop magazines. I also turned the image black and white making sure the image was a close up and she was not smiling as well as looking directly into the camera to make sure that the genre is potrayed and the audience understand her emotions and seriousness of the article.

These are some of the images i have taken; live as well as studio for my magazine to make sure i am able to get a range of images.
